Youming Che,
Director of Asian Studies Program
O
n March 7th and 8th, 2014 twenty-eight Ransom Everglades Middle and Upper School students
participated in the 9th Annual Florida Statewide Chinese Competition held in Gainesville, Florida. Once
again our young Chinese program at RE produced many state winners. As their Chinese teachers,
Mrs. Yang and I share with the school community our congratulations to them, and we thank you all for your
support. On April 8th students were inducted into the National Chinese Honor Society Ransom Everglades
Chapter. Mrs. Moceri was presented with the first print numbered 0-0-1 of the redesigned National Chinese
Honor Society certificate by Mr. Youming Che, chairman of the National Chinese Honor Society, during the
Upper School Foreign Language Honor Society Induction Assembly.
