More than 330 six-person teams braved 66-degree water and 6,000-foot elevation during this legendary 10-mile swim across the northern end of Lake Tahoe. Team COMAS – i.e. Columbia Old Men Alumni Swimming – finished the race in four hours and 35 minutes, placing ninth out of 17 teams in the men’s 300+ category. There is speculation about a COMAS return appearance for 2027. Stay tuned! 1988 Christopher Stadler writes, “A few months ago I accepted a role as Chief Marketing Officer of Factor, the healthy meal delivery brand, and signed Serena Williams as our first Global Ambassador. We launched a campaign called “Let’s Eat Real” that generated 100 million views in the first five days (you can check it out on Instagram or on YouTube). Factor and Nike were the only brands that [Williams] partnered with for her return to tennis, so it’s been an honor to be part of her journey.” Submit Class Notes for Spring 2027 at: bit.ly/RE-class-notes
