We had an excellent turnout of ten classmates attending that weekend, including Linda Elwood McWilliams, Susan Fleming, Ines Garin, Sara Grinnell Smith, Lee Howell, Lili Krech Neale, Janice Moore Topping, Mary Beth Norton Durant, Valerie Pistole Walter and Candy Shedden Donnelly . “We missed those classmates who were not able to be with us, and we hope to get together with everyone for our 60th Reunion, which will be in 2029. “During our 55th Reunion, we enjoyed being together for a delicious luncheon at Joe’s Stone Crab, a lovely reception at La Brisa on the upper school campus, an Everglades alumnae breakfast and tour and an Everglades School for Girls Class of 1969 dinner at my home in Coconut Grove. “I wanted to thank all our classmates who returned to Miami for Alumni Weekend 2024. A very special thank you goes to our classmate, Mary Beth Norton Durant , for all her love and support, and for the communications and arrangements that she made to make our 55th Year Reunion such a wonderful experience for all of us, as our Reunion Chair.” From Mary Beth Norton Durant : “I would like to add my thanks, along with Lili, to those classmates who were able to join us in April. It was wonderful celebrating our 55th Reunion and catching up with all of you! It seemed like no time had passed – certainly not 55 years!
