Levi received the first-ever legacy plaque given for three generations 1975 Class Agents: Edward Casal (emc.home@gmail.com ), John Fleeman (jbflee@gmail.com ) Steve Sawitz was awarded the Head of School’s Alumni Award for Distinguished Service to the School as part of Alumni Weekend. This well-deserved award was given to Steve as part of the Head of School Luncheon. Steve was joined by his immediate family and close friends. Weaver Jr. ’90 James Weinkle continues to serve as an Assistant United States Attorney, prose- cuting fraud cases and performing other work in the office. He and his dog Mi-Hi moved from Miami to Palm City (near Stuart). During the pandemic, he took a 3,000-mile drive through the South. And with Mi-Hi and younger brother, Tom Weinkle ’76 , he recently drove to Aspen to attend to family matters. James is also an interfaith/interspiritual minister and officiates at weddings, funerals and lifecycle events from the Florida Keys to the top of Aspen Mountain to a historic coastal town north of Boston to Maui. Otherwise he claims his life is really boring, and he fills the voids with some gardening, watching Netflix shows with happy endings, serving as the family historian and communicating on a wide range of matters with like-minded Ransom and Everglades alumni. \ 1973 REUNION YEAR APRIL 2023 Class Agent: Roger Bear (rogerdavidbear@gmail.com) Roger Bear is hoping to see some of his classmates at their 50-Year Reunion in April 2023 and shares that Jim Beverley ’62 will be attending in honor of the late Mike Stokes. 1974 Class Agent: Andrew Hague (ashague@yahoo.com) , Douglas Weiser (doug@4weiser.com ) Enrique Ginzburg, trauma medical director at Jackson South Ryder Trauma Center and professor of surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, recently went to Lviv in Ukraine to mentor physicians whose patients had suffered injuries during the war with Russia. He joined the Global Surgical and Medical Support Group (GSMSG), which brings civilian doctors, nurses and teams (along with security operations forces) to conflict zones to provide training in combat medical care.
