Isabella Ulloa is the founder of Public Service Alliance, the first-ever marketplace for former and current public servants – with free resources and vetted, discounted third-party services that can help protect privacy and security, mitigate legal risk and support personal and professional wellbeing. When Isa launched PSA last year, she quickly reached out to fellow alum and communications consultant, Olivia Bercow ’10, knowing their shared values and experiences would be a strong complement to the growing PSA team. Longtime friend and co-founder of the LAB Miami, Danny Lafuente ’05, learned about PSA through Isa’s launch post and was inspired by the mission. He offered his resources to help strengthen PSA’s unique business model. Together, they have formed a REconnection that highlights the strength of our RE alumni network. When asked what connects these three individuals, they enthusiastically pointed to their shared desire to surround themselves with forward-thinking people who are committed to making the world a better place. In reflecting on this common bond, they quickly remembered Paul C. Ransom’s letter and a line from the Everglades Creed: “To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.” The trio unanimously agreed that the Ransom Everglades alumni network is one they naturally want to engage with and continue building alongside. Lessons learned at RE, such as the ones in Paul Ransom’s Letter and the Everglades Creed, have continued to guide this trio’s values and career decisions.
