32 Ransom Everglades LOG FALL 2026 CHINA: Nineteen Ransom Everglades students traveled through China on an exciting spring break adventure led by Chinese teacher Xiaohong Teng. Besides studying Chinese language and culture, the students engaged in meaningful service and explored the country. They volunteered at the Panda Park, cleaning facilities and preparing food for the pandas, visited the Yangtze region to learn about local minority cultures and the surrounding environment, and donned aprons for a Chinese cooking class. They traveled through Chengdu, Enshi and Wuhan before their final stop in Shanghai, where they immersed themselves in the energy of modern Chinese life. ENGLAND: Thirteen RE juniors and seniors enjoyed an extraordinary Literary England Trip across London, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford during spring break. Experiencing England through its rich history and vibrant present, students encountered the places and texts that shaped so much of the literature they study.
