SPRING 2025 Ransom Everglades LOG 51 1991 JOINT REUNION APRIL 2025 Carolina Sasson writes, “I’m thrilled to share that I recently got engaged to Tom Cummings and we’re planning to move from Boulder, Co., where I’ve been for the last 20 years, to Cape Cod in early 2025.” Carolina launched Lighthouse Weight Loss, a startup with her older brother, Dr. V. Andres Sasson, which focuses on GLP-1 based weight loss and wellness. She said, “We’ve collectively dropped over 70 lbs. and are passionate about helping others achieve success and feel better … Looking forward to moving east and connecting at the 35th reunion!” The practice is Florida-based, boutique and all about education and transparency. Good times!” Valens and Dan L-R: Awilda, Dan, Valens and McCartney David Timoner writes, “The new year started with tragedy for the Timoner family, along with thousands of our neighbors and friends. The Eaton Fire destroyed our family’s home, the home of sister Ondi ’90 and our lovely com- munity of Altadena. Two weeks later, we have moved into a long-term rental and are beginning to put our lives back together. Our losses are incalculable and recovery is going to be a long road, but I know we’re doing better than most and are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends far and wide, including many old friends from the RE community. We’ll all be back in South Florida in April for a retrospective of Ondi’s directorial work at the Miami International Film Festival and are look- ing forward to reconnecting in person then.” A friendship forged at RE morphed into a business relationship when Ilan Arboleda and Robin Paul Kelleher ’95 ended up working together in the entertainment industry.
