He writes, “It is a challenge to play tournament golf a few times per year, but the thrill and nerves from competition are irreplaceable. I don’t get to practice like I used to, but the mindset I’ve shared in my monthly golf tips – staying present, managing expectations, having a short memory and sticking to my routine – has made a big difference. It’s helped me shift focus from technique to scoring and get back to the present when my mind starts to wander into the ‘what ifs.’ That same approach carries over into real estate – focus on what you can control, stay grounded in the process and don’t dwell on the last shot (or deal). I’m proud to represent Miami Beach and La Gorce Country Club at the U.S. Mid-Amateur in Arizona this September. Read my monthly golf tips at ButtaMiami.com, where I connect lessons from the course to real estate and life.” Cristi Sanchez and her husband, Scott Byers, welcomed their second daughter, Teddy Annie Byers, in May.
