32 Ransom Everglades LOG FALL 2025 Drama students outdo themselves with Hadestown: Teen Edition StudentNews From the performers’ range and polish, to the creative and perfectly timed choreography, to the true-to-Broadway staging, sound, costumes and set, RE’s accomplished upper school drama and orchestra students provided four nights to remember at the Lewis Family Auditorium with abounding talent and their special take on Hadestown: Teen Edition. Under the direction of RE performing arts teacher Laura Montes, RE students had the chance to perform the 2019 Tony Award winning musical just a year after the teen version was created. The students, who performed in two distinct casts, drew nearly full houses all four nights and inspired huge ovations. The leads for the Wednesday and Friday night showings were Armando Segrera ’25, Isabella Sayfie Ranawat ’26, Jaerla Sajous ’25, Gustavo Do Valle ’26, Julia Jacir ’27, Sofie Delic ’28, Morgan Williams ’26 and Miranda Silva ’26.
