RE Log - Spring 2024
SPRING 2024 Ransom Everglades LOG 17 The Lampen Family Susan Matson Lampen ’71 Kate Lampen-Sachar ’99 Sophia Sachar ’29 Isabelle Sachar ’29 Susan: Ransom Everglades is a special space that I have been able to share with my daughters and grandchildren. I never anticipated that RE would become an integral part of my personal and family history. I am so grateful that the educational experience has created bonding for us on so many levels. The Dell on the Everglades campus evokes all kinds of memories both challenging and peaceful. Friendships during those years provided me with opportunities to learn about how to be a friend and how to ask for support when needed. Kate: My favorite spots on campus were the Dell and the Pagoda. My favorite RE memory was St. Alban’s Day every year, particularly 10th grade when we were responsible for the whole day, and Outward Bound! What makes RE special are the community and the teachers. “I never anticipated that RE would become an integral part of my personal and family history. I am so grateful that the educational experience has created bonding for us on so many levels.” – Susan Matson Lampen “What makes RE special are the community and the teachers.” – Kate Lampen-Sachar “My favorite spot on campus is the quad, and my favoriteRE memory is St.Alban’s Day.” – Sophia Sachar “My favorite spot is also the quad, and my best RE memory is DanceSisterReveal.” (tradition in the middle school dance classes of introducing new students to their dance families) – Isabelle Sachar
