FALL 2024 Ransom Everglades LOG 71 Robin Van De Kreeke writes, “Pinch ourselves moment here in the household as wife, Jennifer, takes on a new role as CEO of URBNSURF, the first company to operate two commercial surf parks, based in Sydney, Australia. As passionate surfers, both our son, an engineering student at University of Technology Sydney, and I are looking forward to visiting her at work any chance we get. Our daughter, not a surfer, is a law student at Australia National University in Canberra. Meanwhile, I’ve also taken on a role as Group CFO of Harrison Group, a large family-owned company based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.” 1984 Please consider becoming a class ambassador. L-R: Marcelo Fernandes, Scott Tornek ’83, Marc Sanders, David Elkins, Jack Holly (standing) and Jonathan Zahler Tony Cooper says, “It’s been quite a year for us! My wife Tamee and I each donated one of our kidneys. I donated mine to a very close friend last October, and Tamee completed her non-directed donation in August. Learning that humans only need one healthy kidney and that our ‘spares’ would save people’s lives, we decided to share our spare. It was a more difficult recovery process than I had planned on, but once I hit the six-month mark, I was back to normal.” 1985 REUNION APRIL 2025 Class Ambassador: Stacey Deutsch Shoer (shoerstacey@gmail.com ) Tamir Keshen writes, “Hi everyone! It pains me to hear about Robbie! I too had a grade 4 glioblastoma removed three years ago. I am now retired from Pediatric Surgery practice. We have four kids, two starting college this August, a son at Middlebury and a daughter at Bates. Our other two kids are in fifth grade. Roberta is still a practicing Mohs Surgeon! We have lived in Santa Barbara for the past 17 years. I would love to connect with any RE alums! Hope all is well with all classmates!” Robert D.W.
