Caryn Pardo, a GMiami speaker and third generation descendant of a Holocaust survivor, spoke to upper schoolers and shared her grandfather’s story and her memories of his influence on her as a child. The three of them are currently staying in Miami with family through summer 2023. At that time they will return to Brooklyn, N.Y., where Martine has lived for the last decade and is a psychotherapist in private practice who specializes in treating trauma.
