It was their fourth destination retreat. Shanté is third from right pictured below. Camilla Corbitt Hazelton sent the photo showing “coast-to-coast friends reuniting in L.A. this summer.” Photo below: Camilla and Melanie Zachar Kaloski with their children. Katharine Lampen-Sachar , a diag- nostic radiologist at Baptist Healthcare System, was featured on CBS4 Miami in a segment about the updated rec- ommendations from the United States Preventive Services Task Force regarding mammograms at age 40. During the interview, Katherine helped explain the new regulations and emphasized the importance of annual screenings. Christina Sotolongo graduated from the University of Miami Herbert Business School with a Master of Science in Leadership. She was vale- dictorian and the recipient of the Student Leadership Award. 2000 Class Ambassadors: Olivia Arellano Espinosa (Olivia.arellano@gmail.com) , Dina Dubson Kelley (ddkelley@protonmail.com) , Katherine Muraro Pedroso (katiepedroso@gmail.com ), Kate Samson Valois (kateelizabethvalois@gmail.com ) Dwanita Fields and Cai Thomas ’12 aligned their passions and purpose this summer to provide an opportunity for young girls from underserved commu- nities in Miami to make a global impact. The two of them connected on the Anderson gymnasium floor back in 2011 when Cai was a girls’ varsity basketball player and Dwanita her assistant coach. Dwanita is the CEO and Founder of Leading With Love, a nonprofit orga- nization designed to empower young BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) girls to be leaders locally and globally through mentorship, leadership development and cultural immersion
