Made especially special because we were joined by our four children, spouses and nine out of 10 grandchildren. Al DeMaris has spent most of his career as a theoretical family social psychologist and statistician at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in Ohio. In February he was congratulated by his colleagues for being one of 18 faculty at BGSU identified in a recent Stanford study as among the top 2 percent of scientists worldwide as the most sought-after experts in their fields. Al retired in 2018 and is currently an emeritus professor at BGSU. He is still doing research and publishing with colleagues as well as statistical consulting for non-academ- ic firms. Additionally, he is currently sharing a favorite hobby and teaching beginning guitar at a local senior center. 1964 REUNION APRIL 2024 Class Ambassador: Lawrence Reeder (larry@howardsreederinc.com ) 1965 Class Ambassadors: James Hobbs (jchobbs3@bellsouth.net ), Kurt Kunzel (kkunzel5@gmail.com ), Joseph Sanders (sandersmarketing@mindspring.com ) Joseph Sanders writes, “Sixty years after first competing for the Ransom School in the 200-yard freestyle, I won the same event to qualify for the North Carolina Senior Games.” 1966 Please consider becoming a class ambassador. 1967 Please consider becoming a class ambassador. Ira Warshaw writes, “The Warshaw clan had more milestones: our youngest daughter, Emily, had her second child, Meira, in October, in Stoneham, Mass., joining four-year-old brother, Simon. Our eldest daughter, Hayley, planned a spectacular Bar Mitzvah for our almost 14-year-old grandson, Abram, in Kalamazoo, Mich., with younger sister, Maisie, a few years behind. Our middle daughter, Lauren, is preparing for another year of teaching 4th-grade reading and language arts. I think
