The Aztec Group won Heaviest Dolphin and the Heaviest Combined Dolphin Awards. Angler Danny Ramos caught the heavi- est Dolphin at 20.4 lbs. and the team took the combined award at 38.2 lbs. They gra- ciously hosted 150 RE alumni at their home replete with live DJ beats, delicious eats, a video viewing room montage and more. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to celebrat- ing a trio of class reunions. Thank you, Lauren and Charles! Indi Avila accepted the position of Head of School at The Mandelstam School, a PreK-5th grade private elementary school in South Miami. Indi’s daughter, Ella Lombardo ’24, is a rising junior. This past spring Ella participated in RE’s TEDx event. She shared her experienc- es leading up to three brain surgeries and advocated for empathy over “toxic positivity.” You can check out her talk by searching on YouTube for Ella Lombardo and TEDx. Irigoyen ’12 (track and field and cross country) and Joner Strauss ’00 (swimming and water polo). Carrie was inducted by her classmate and dear friend Kimberly Arbuckle Goodwin ’95. The founder of Rina Yoga, Rina is a bilingual yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, motivational speaker and author. She presents at yoga conferences worldwide and is a faculty member of the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, N.Y. With three Rina Yoga studios in Miami, Rina also created her own yoga app, Snooze Yoga, and a pioneering yoga curriculum for children and teens called Super Yogis’ Schoolhouse.
