(See page 45.) Cheyenne currently serves as the Manager of Executive Initiatives for March of Dimes, the national nonprofit committed to the health and wellness of all moms and babies. In her role, she reports directly to the President & CEO on special projects, assists with communication to members of the board of trustees and coordinates with the Office of Government Affairs to ensure legislative priorities are achieved. Prior to joining March of Dimes, Cheyenne served as Special Assistant to Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson in the U.S. House of Representatives. She was responsible for coordinating Congresswoman Wilson’s activities in Washington, D.C., managing stakeholders and advising on issues including labor, women’s health, housing, Hayley Mendelson married Kolm Smith on January 16, 2021, in a small family ceremony at their home with safety measures in place. gun violence, education and civil rights. Cheyenne is the great-granddaughter of beloved Florida civil rights icon, M. Athalie Range. “Mama Range” as many referred to her was the owner and operator of three funeral homes, the first Black female city commissioner, the first Black woman appointed as head of a Florida state agency, the Department of Community Affairs and later appointed to the Amtrak Commission by President Jimmy Carter. Sam lives in Seattle, Wash., and works as a project manager for Genie, a division of Terex Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of industrial lifting and material-handling equipment for a variety of industries, including construction, infrastructure, energy, transportation and utilities. In his spare time, Sam enjoys mountaineering and back-country skiing in the Cascades.
