I have acquired a rescue dog (see handsome photo), and she is poised to coach me towards achieving some goals this year. If you are a motivated goal setter and feel you could help me reach my potential, please don’t hesitate to reach out.” Photo by LM Photography Roland Samimy was named the first Chief Resilience and Sustainability Officer for the Village of Key Biscayne in April 2020. Roland is a coastal systems and water resources scientist with a PhD in Coastal Systems Science, an MS in Water Resources Engineering and an MA in Environmental Policy. He has held the position of Senior Scientist - Water Resources Technical Manager with Atkins North America (Miami Office) while also maintaining his 18-year long professional association with the University of Massachusetts- Dartmouth, where he continues to hold the position of Senior Research Manager for the Coastal Systems Program within the Department of Estuarine and Ocean Science. Michael is a member of the law firm Monzack Mersky Browder and Hochman, P.A., in Wilmington, Delaware. He is a litigator with extensive experience in both state and federal courts. Hochman has also served as a trial lawyer with the State of Delaware’s Office of the Public Defender. Hochman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Boston College Law School. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and their three children. Donald Lutton writes, “ Jeff Williamson ’86 and I are gold medalists in the State of Florida Senior Games. I won five medals (one gold, three silvers and a bronze) in swimming in Cocoa Beach December 5 and 6. Jeff won three medals (one gold and two silver) in Melbourne, Fla., for track and field the following weekend.” Andy Schine writes, “Hi everyone! I hope this finds you all well. I am swimming in the ocean, sharing loads of time with my family — Ava (18), Dashiell (15), John and the pets — and working as a writing coach and a college counselor. I’m so lucky to get to see Heather Snider on the regular!
