60 Ransom Everglades LOG SPRING 2021 Class Notes 1982 Class Agents: Dave Bricker (dave@davebricker.com ), Gregory Glass (greg@gregoryglass.com ), Jennifer Keedy (jenwired@gmail.com ), Renu Mody (Miamieye@aol.com ) Ana Alas Gonzalez-Abreu writes, “We are proud to share with you two recent accomplishments: During 2020, GAA ARCHITECTURE I INTERIORS celebrated our 30th anniversary in business. We are grateful to have been entrusted with wonderful commissions across Biscayne Bay, the Florida Keys and the Bahamas (as represented with pins in the map – at left). Late in December 2020, we were awarded ‘Best One-Room Interior Design’ by the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA) for Villa Marbella’s Kitchen in Cat Cay, Bahamas. We will be awarded the 2020 Addison Mizner Award during a ceremony that was postponed until fall 2021 (due to COVID-19). On a more personal note: our oldest son, Dante Gonzalez-Abreu, graduated magna cum laude with a degree in theater arts from Loyola Marymount University and is residing in Los Angeles. Our daughter, Allegra Gonzalez-Abreu, received an in-state scholarship for her undergraduate program and graduated with a degree in design from the College of Fine Arts. Allegra is the graphic designer for Blue Northern in Austin. (Her teammate is a Ransom Everglades graduate). Luca Gonzalez-Abreu ’18 is completing his third year at U Chicago, where he is pursuing degrees in mathematics and economics. Luca works for the University’s Neubauer Scholars Program and is a board member of the University’s Impact Investment Group. Luca has participated in RE alumni gatherings in Chicago.
