Annie Lord , Executive Director of Miami Homes for All, addressed RE upper school students during a virtual assembly as part of Women’s History Month in March 2021. Annie has nearly 20 years of experience in community development. Before joining MHFA, Annie served as the Chief Program Officer for CitySquare, a direct multi-service provider for vulner- able households, and Vice President of Community Development for Citibank. She also served as the first Executive Director of the South Florida Community Development Coalition. Annie is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional, a graduate of Class VI of Miami Fellows, and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Harvard University. Giselle Ferro Puigbo lives in the Greater Boston area with her partner Andres Puigbo and her adventurous and kind-hearted kids, Amaya (7) and Luca (2). She was appointed Executive Director of the Brookline Community Foundation in September 2020, after 15 years working with high-impact non- profits addressing some of the country’s most pressing challenges, including health and educational equity. She was recently elected to the board of Women In Development of Greater Boston and is a member of HIP (Hispanics in Philanthropy), strengthening Latinx leadership, influence and equity by leveraging philanthropic resources across the Americas. She visits Miami every year to see her family and the oldest Puigbo kid (Santiago, 18!) and to make sure her little ones stay connected to the vibrant city she still calls home. Jonathan Mirabito is approaching the 10-year mark as Managing Director of Ganolian Investments, the family office for two RE alumni. With concentra- tions in technology, real estate, financial services and infrastructure, the platform considers how each investment can not only generate financial returns but also have a positive impact on the planet. Jonathan and his wife, Helen, live in South Miami with their boys, Jackson (9) and Henry (7), who attend Temple Beth Am Day School. Very serious about cycling, Jonathan mountain bikes several times a week with RE classmates Jordi Cuervo, Jesse Miller, Jorge Gross and some guy from Gulliver. Michael Valdés-Fauli is co-founder of Prosecco Zero, a low-sugar bubbly that has attracted attention. A story by Coral Gables Magazine noted: “Mike Valdés- Fauli is the President & CEO of Coral Gables-based Pinta PR, with clients ranging from Carnival, Comcast, and Microsoft to Western Union, Heineken and T-Mobile. Ervin Machado is a veteran sommelier, beverage director, hospitality consultant, and entrepreneur. During the pandemic, the two decided to team up and ride two distinct trends: the rising popularity of prosecco (Italy’s bubbly wine that surpassed Champagne in 2019) and the growing demand for products with less sugar. What they came up with is Prosecco Zero, a super low sugar prosecco that also happens to taste really good.
