Pamela Kayton Posner wrote that she and her husband, Jarrett Posner ’88 , moved back home from New York in August.“We are thrilled,” she wrote. “Jordan will attend the sixth grade at RE and Stella and Morgan will be in fifth grade and second grade at Lehrman. We are very excited to be back in Miami and part of the Ransom Everglades community again!” 1993 Class Agent: Elana Oberstein-Harris (elanaober@aol.com ) Bill Bermont , board chair of Cathedral School in New York City, shared his affection for Ransom Everglades in the most recent issue of the Cathedral School Magazine . He wrote, “The bonds that form over the love of an institution have a way of shaping our values and defining who we are as individuals. That was certainly my experience at my alma maters — Ransom Everglades School and Duke University (go, Blue Devils!) — but this phenomenon took on another form entirely when my family and I arrived at Cathedral.” Lainie Suarez Butler was recognized for her work with diversity and inclusion by Bristol Myers Squibb. Elana Oberstein-Harris , see Veronica Diaz ’95 and Peter Diamond ’92 Tara Narula writes, “Just wanted to reach out and let you know I just aired a piece on CBS that features and highlights the work of a fellow RE alum! I actually had no idea she had gone to RE when I first started interviewing her, and then we both discovered we were alums! Her work is amazing — Emily Silverman ’05 founded a group called The Nocturnists! Joining Veronica were India Foster (daughter of Ridgely Foster ’57 ), Gonzo Diaz ’99 , her nephew Henry (son of Daniela Diaz ’95) , her uncle Augie Diaz, REEF Co- chair Elana Oberstein-Harris ’93 , and Head of School Penny Townsend. Veronica graduated from Princeton University where she also played water polo and was recently interviewed by goprincetontigers.com . Veronica lives in West Palm Beach, Fla., and works in solo private practice at Palm Beach Hand to Shoulder. Her specialty is orthopedic surgery (shoulder, elbow and hand). Her clinical time is split between evaluating patients in the office and surgery, including arthroscopic and open treatment of sports injuries, fractures and degenerative conditions of the shoulder and upper extremity. She also works in healthcare technology as the Medical Director of Orthopedics at Modernizing Medicine, Inc.
