This fund will help ensure that students at RE, regardless of their financial circumstance, are able to participate fully in the programs and activities offered by the school, underscoring the shared commitment that RE alumni have to diversity, equity and inclusion at Ransom Everglades. The concept for the endowment originated in 2020 with the passing of beloved security guard Tammy Valdez Anthon. The school established two funds in her memory, including the Equitable Experience Endowment Fund. Inspired by the spirit of the endowment fund and its origins, the Class of 1990 adopted the fund and brought it to fruition with additional fundraising.
