FALL 2021 Ransom Everglades LOG 43 Lampen Family Wellness Center December 2018: Construction of STEM center begins August 2019: Ransom Everglades announces the creation of three integrated academic departments – STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics), Humanities, and World Languages and Global Studies March 2020: Ransom Everglades launches REmote RE in response to COVID-19 pandemic September 2020: Ransom Everglades proudly opens the Constance & Miguel Fernandez STEM Center to students and faculty December 2020: Andrew L. Ansin ’81 and his family announce the Ansin Challenge: Bring the campaign to $70 million of its $75 million goal, and the Ansin Foundation will donate $5 million to reach the finish line February 2021: Fast Company describes Ransom Everglades as a “reimagined school” in a major feature story about the Fernandez STEM Center June 2021: REinventing Excellence campaign successfully comes to a close, raising $82.3 million, 10% over goal — with the largest annual fund in school history at $3.3 million January 2018: The City of Miami approves RE’s new plan for its upper school November 2018: Demolition of several buildings at upper school makes way for new STEM center site
