SPRING 2020 Ransom Everglades LOG 65 Ryan Sears , a sophomore at Harvard, was invited back to campus to address upper school students during the assem- bly honoring Dr. Martin Luther King’s memory as part of Black History Month. Isa continues to perform while a freshman at Harvard University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree while simultaneously seeking a master’s degree at the Berklee College of Music. A member of the a capella Harvard Opportunes, she has sung the national anthem at Red Sox and Celtics games since arriving to Boston last summer. Marley Rywell visited with Amelia Fox ’22 (left). Marley was Amelia’s mentor/coach all of last year with RE’s speech and debate team in public forum debate. In fall 2019, Marley invited Amelia to come to Tufts University for a visit during a speech and debate trip to Boston. Henry Schermerhorn , Alex Mendelson and Miles Schachner attended the New York City Alumni Reception this past January. Alex and Miles are freshmen at Columbia, and Henry is a freshman at New York University. Oliver Stern (University of Pennsylvania) and Brianna Kerr (Columbia University) model their scarves knit by RE’s speech and debate coach Kate Hamm. Hamm gifts each of her graduating seniors a scarf she per- sonally knits for them in colors of their new school.
