62 Ransom Everglades LOG SPRING 2020 Class Notes Chelsea Johnson and her mother Donna Johnson reunited with former RE Head of School Ellen Moceri in Miami last fall. Chelsea started law school at the University of Miami in the fall and her sister Ashleigh Johnson ’12 continues to start at goalie for the U.S. women’s national team in water polo, which quali- fied this summer for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo with a 10-9 victory over Italy at a tournament in Budapest, Hungary. A very special thank you to Victoria Calleja for rallying the classmates to attend. While everyone celebrated being together, they took a moment to toast departed classmate Francisco Triana . Eli Levitt is a medical student at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he is also operations coordina- tor of the FIU group Medical Students Working to Improve Society and Health (MedSWISH). Eli has worked on National Institute of Health funded projects to study the local community of recent Latino immigrants, investigat- ing the risk and protective factors of risky behaviors. Eli has written several Institutional Review Board-approved protocols, has over 15 publications, post- ers and abstracts, and is a member of the American College of Surgeons Florida Chapter Residency and Medical Student Committee. He is on several student-run committees and is the Chair of the Johns Hopkins University Alumni Association in Miami. Eli is a Global Impact Fellow of the Unite for Sight organization to end preventable blindness and Rotary Club of Miami Thomas B. McClelland Scholar. He was selected to be the AAMC Herbert W.
