This SLEEPtember was our 5th annual awareness and education campaign with live, in-depth discussions on how sleep apnea touches all other systems in our bodies. When a call to action was needed, Adam only had to look towards his fellow Ransom Everglades alumni to offer their time and energy to help educate and inform patients. “I am fortunate enough to have these friends and alumni to help our cause. They wish to give back in service,” Adam wrote. Currently on the board of directors are Andres Mendoza ’93 and Zack Miller. Elana Oberstein-Harris ’93 has offered her expertise at speaker events, and Paul Zuccarini ’80 partici- pated in a 2018 FDA patient panel. “RE instilled the purpose of giving back and making a difference. I have re- connected with so many alumni based on their sleep issues, and I’m happy to share my experience and knowledge to help any willing to listen,” Adam wrote.
