RE Log - Fall 2020
FALL 2020 Ransom Everglades LOG 21 This spring I felt blessed to work at a school with the resources of RE. Our small class sizes, access to technology, active parents, and motivated students make virtual school possible. Many schools do not have all these things going at once, and many schools struggled during this time. REmote learning could feel both chaotic and monotonous, but it worked. I feel fortunate to teach where I do. Sam Upton, English, history and social sciences The spring of 2020 was most certainly my most memorable year in teaching. I started Year 25 as an educator with great optimism and cheer. I ended Year 25 with great optimism and relief. My students and their parents were champs. Students rose to the occasion when their learning environment transitioned to the remote environment, and their parents helped to support their children as students and me as their educator.
