I did my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California San Francisco and currently I’m an assis- tant professor at The Ohio State Uni- versity in Columbus, Ohio, where I do research on mechanisms of neonatal hy- poxia and study the development of the autonomic nervous system. I have four kids, Diego (10), Monica (8), Aaron (7) and David (4). I work with my husband, Jose Otero, who is a pathologist, and we run the lab together as well as share the work with the kids together. Life is fun but exhausting! I have included a photo of mine (a selfie in the office).” Phil Lord won a Golden Globe Award for producing and co-writing Spider- Man: Into the Spider-Verse , which was named best animated feature on Jan. 6.
