SPRING 2019 Ransom Everglades LOG 41 Lisa Shaw writes, “Our three-year ad- venture in Barcelona ends this summer as my oldest daughter, Sophia, heads to Bowdoin College in Maine and my 14-year-old twins, Owen and Charlotte, enter high school in Washington, D.C. (Huge shout out to Kate Sullivan Lindseth ’75 for her exceptionally professional and skilled college counsel- ing support with Lindseth Consulting.) For now, we’re enjoying our wonderful Catalan community and knocking out our ‘You Gotta See This!’ bucket list. With our return I’m looking forward to the Shaw clan ( Scott Shaw ’78, Tom Shaw ’79 ) hosting more D.C. area events including a gathering on the tall ship Providence. For now, we’re enjoy- ing our social media connections with RE alums all over the globe like Kit Pancoast ’77 in Tokyo (Follow her gorgeous Facebook posts of art, poetry and culture!), Patty Shillington ’77 , now a professor at the University of Massachusetts, Leslie Lipton ’75 , who created a meaningful literacy foundation http://www.mjproject.org , and so many other alums who are doing amazing things every single day.” 1978 Class Agents: Meg Thomson Daly (losdalys@bellsouth.net) , Vivian Blount Schile (vbschile@aol.com) Meg Thompson Daly writes, “My husband John Daly and I welcomed our first grandchild Lucas Parker Daly into the world on May 9, 2018, in New York City. I am currently a registered nurse at Western NC Community Health in Asheville, N.C. I work with the uninsured, so we face many challenges daily. I am so proud to have two grown sons, ages 32 and 30. One is a physicist and the other a pilot. I love hiking, photography, traveling and going flying with my son. I am very lucky to live in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I hope to make it back to South Florida one of these days to get together with some old RE friends. Thanks to Facebook, we have been able to keep in touch.”
