RE Log Fall 2019

FALL 2019 Ransom Everglades LOG 83 Sabrina Beraja launched her startup Chefit, a platform for personal chefs at restaurant prices, with her cousin and co-founder Matt Redler. They have been working together since the end of March and have quickly gained traction from chefs and customers craving restaurant- quality food served fresh in their homes. Chefs create their own specialty menus, bring the ingredients to your home and cook within 1.5 hours – for the same price as dining out at a restaurant! Chefit currently has 20 chefs online (with many more in the pipeline) and has completed over 100 dinners in the South Florida area, generating $15,500 since inception. Family and friends have come together to support their idea, but they’re always looking for more – whether that be inves- tors or eaters! Check out https://chefit. com or follow them at @orderchefit David Mendelson writes. “I am graduat- ing early from the Columbia University MBA program and moving to Miami in July 2019 to start full time at HEICO.” Nati Sheppard , see Debbie Ajagbe ’17 2016 Class Agents: William Glass, Dimitri Godur (dimitrigodur@yahoo. com), Alyssa Lloret (alyssalloret@ gmail.com ), Ahan Malhotra (ahan. tm@gmail.com ), Mariana Sanchez- Medina (msanchezmedina@college. harvard.edu) , Owen Zighelboim (owen.zighelboim@gmail.com ) Lauren Archer is currently a Class of 2020 Rockefeller Leadership Fellow at Dartmouth College where she is pursuing a major in economics, modi- fied with environmental studies, and a minor in Spanish.
