RE Log Fall 2019

76 Ransom Everglades LOG FALL 2019 Class Notes movement, a movement three million strong and growing – a movement of people working for swimmable, drink- able, fishable water. Lauren launched Fraser Riverkeeper in Vancouver in 2007 and remains its Riverkeeper today. In 2010, Lauren co-founded Miami Waterkeeper in her hometown, and working with water warrior and fellow Ransom Everglades alumna Alexis Segal ’95 and its current Waterkeeper, Rachel Silverstein, has inspired thou- sands of youth in Miami and Vancouver to become water guardians. She remains the organization’s chair. David Schimmel writes, “I have some big news to share: it’s my 20th year of And Partners as of June 2019, and we have a book coming out this fall from publisher Assouline titled Taste Craft & With, And Partners at 20 Years . It’s a 300-plus-page coffee table book inclusive of a chronicling of the firm and all of our work. I included the RE view book cover we did on one of the pages so we will have to get a copy down to Miami for you to put in reception. :)” Heather Tillett Stenstrom attended the RE sixth-grade welcome for the Class of 2026 last spring. Forty children in the incoming sixth-grade class are children of alumni. See photo, page 37. An incred- ible legacy for RE!
