The result was that the American diplomats caused the British distress. For more on this, see Robert Hardman’s new book entitled Queen of the World . It documents a number of such incidents. The British inspired Laurel to do something about this problem. The problem was discussed in some of her classes at Teacher’s College Columbia University. Today, Laurel and a British company are developing a knowledge test of British manners. Those who cannot pass this test are urged to take a course concerned with British social skills. Additionally, Laurel has founded a charity entitled “Friends of International Cultural Education” ( www.friendsice. org ). This charity was founded so that others who are interested in this problem may also be involved in fixing it. 1975 Class Agent: Kate Sullivan Lindseth (katelindseth@gmail.com) Jeri (Waxenberg) Wolfson writes, “Women artists on the rise! There, she shared her story: When she broke both arms during a fall from her bicycle six years ago, her incapacity and the accompany- ing inconvenience led to the best idea she’s ever had. She couldn’t drive, so she traveled on the Metrorail and traversed the walking paths underneath to her doctor’s appointments. As she surveyed the neglected swath of land under the
