Justin Luger writes, “I’m a Senior Associate at the law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman in Coral Gables practicing commercial and govern- ment litigation. In 2017, I earned an AV Preeminent Rating with Martindale- Hubbell and ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Up and Comer’ recognitions from SuperLawyers and Florida Trend publications. I currently sit on the board of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce and chair its 35-and-under committee, HYPE Miami. I’d love to connect with other local RE alumni!” Carly Matire writes, “Hello RE alumni! In 2017, my husband John and I wel- comed our third child, Asher Charles. His big sisters Molly, 4, and Skylar, 2½, adore him. We are living in West Palm Beach where I work in pharmaceutical sales. Aside from work and family, John and I are avid triathletes!” Jackie (Berger) Savir writes, “My husband David Savir and I welcomed our third child, Sylvie Mae, on Sept. 5, 2017. Lauren Defabio Flanagan gave birth to Harper Elizabeth Flanagan, on Oct. 18, 2017. Janelle Milanes has received early acclaim for her debut novel, The Victoria in My Head , published by Simon and Schuster and launched in September in New York City. The young-adult novel about a shy girl with overprotective Cuban parents has received excellent reviews. She credits Thomas Dughi, her AP English teacher at RE, for inspiring her passion for writing. Milanes, who led a Barnes and Noble writing workshop, lives in New York with her husband Dan and daughter Victoria Milanes Mulhall. Baby Victoria was born Nov. 15, 2017, weigh- ing in at 7 lbs., 10 oz. and 20½ inches. Amanda Saiontz Gluck welcomed third child Dane Samson Gluck. Amanda currently lives in South Miami and is the founder of FashionableHostess.com , which was featured by Martha Stewart four times in 2017. Jossie Stern Liddell and her husband Andrew Liddell are the proud parents of Logan Paige Liddell born on Oct. 7, 2017. Logan’s photo was taken by photographer Ricky Stern ’96 .
