Wright ’70 1972 Leslie Wakefield Buchanan writes, “Joe and I spent and early Christmas in NYC in December with our kids, Tom Buchanan ’03 and Sarah Buchanan, who live there. Tom is in Columbia University's execu- tive MBA program while working full time for Fareportal. Sarah is a Senior Vice President at Pimco. Katie Buchanan Reynolds ’01 and Britt Reynolds were there too! Katie has been active in fun- draising as a Development Director in a private school and Britt is a Portfolio Manager with Premise Capital. During my career, I had the excitement of flying nearly 100 times into the eyes of hur- ricanes, including Andrew when it was Ransom Everglades School 1975 Debbie Massey Cavanaugh led her masters water polo team – the Fighting Flamingos – to four straight national championships and one world title (2013) in the 55-59 age division. The Fort Lauderdale resident and former University of Miami swimmer was honored by USA Water Polo as its Female Masters Athlete of the Year and, most recently, was featured in a story in ESPNW.com . The story noted that Debbie frequently trains and competes with the South Florida Water Polo Club – a girls' group of 14- to 18-year-olds. “I think I'm smarter [game- wise] than a lot of the girls and boys, but they've got those quicker reactions," she told ESPNW.com . "But it's a fun time. They respect me. ... I think they're impressed somebody my age can still play the sport." 1976 Cherry Krech Fulcher , see Lili Krech Neale ’69 1969 Lili Krech Neale shares the passing of her beloved mother Cherry Krech. “Cherry G. Krech, 92, passed away on December 7, 2017. She was the mother of Lili Krech Neale, Carol Darling Krech ’74, Cherry Krech Fulcher ’76 and the grandmother of Giles Grady Neale ’98 . Cherry G. Krech was the widow of M. Chapin ‘Hafey’ Krech, who predeceased her in 2008 and was the assistant headmaster and math- ematics teacher at Ransom School from 1958-63 and the assistant principal and mathematics teacher at Everglades School for Girls from 1965-69.” Our condolences to the Krech Family. I am finishing a baking class and taking international cuisine classes this next semester.” Darryl Larson writes, “A busy time of the year in my world, and in my neigh- borhood, as the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show happens for 10 days in about a month. I keep very busy with shoots, projects, and house quests especially since we have been very lucky with our weather. I too look forward to the reunion and hope to see a few of you before then ... somewhere ... somehow! Blessings to all... ONWARD!” Cree McDougal Scudder is busy looking for art space in her new home in Orchid Island, Fla. She moved to Florida last spring after living many years in La Jolla, Calif., where she raised her children. She recently welcomed her third grand- child Reggie, who lives in Los Angeles. The Rev.
