SPRING 2018 Ransom Everglades LOG 39 The gymnasium reopened for games and practices within two weeks of the storm, and RE’s football team returned to practice at the Robert E. Walker Field on Oct. 5. The restored field has since accommodat- ed football, soccer and lacrosse practices, but because about 30 yards of turf near the bay were irreparably damaged, all home games were moved to the Stamps Family Field at the Middle School. The entire Walker field turf will be replaced in the summer of 2018 after the seawall has been reinforced. Photographs by Carl Kafka and Suzanne Kores
