Bill Stephens is living happily in the San Francisco area with his wife Merylin and daughter Kimberlee. Bill works at the 'HSDUWPHQW RI 9HWHUDQV $ɣDLUV LQ 6DQ Francisco and is a Council Director with WKH 1DY\ /HDJXH RI WKH 8QLWHG 6WDWHV 1971 Class Agents: Mark Harrison (adevco1@msn.com ), David Skipp (dfskipp2001@yahoo.com) Victor Barothy celebrated his birthday this past June in Key West with Rod Jude and John Duke ’70. Ned Moore , semi-retired, continues to work part-time as a senior advisor for his last employer, the Council of Independent Colleges, a national higher education association. He also manages a pooled investment program for state-based as- sociations of private colleges. Living in Hanover County, Va., Ned keeps active lo- cally as a board member for St. John’s, the historic site where Patrick Henry made his famous “Liberty or Death” speech in 1775, and as Clerk of Session for New Hanover Presbyterian Church. He and Tina, his wife of 43 years, have two grown children, Adam, an attorney, and Amanda, an ele- mentary school teacher, and they have just welcomed their third grandchild, Oliver, who joins Ethan (7) and Alexandra (5) in the family tree. Ned also enjoys occasional reunions with his brother Tom Moore ’63 , who lives in White Springs, Fla., and his sister Jourdan Moore Houston ’62 of Durango, Colo. The siblings are honored to have had the opportunity to establish at Ransom Everglades a scholar- ship fund in memory of their late brother Phil Moore ’66 . John Shepherd writes, “I have been in Thailand since December 3, 2017. My son had arrived that summer and stayed and I came to visit for Christmas and the New Year; I thought I would leave in early January but I am still here. It is wonderful to live in Thailand and the food is great! There are so many expats living here from all over the world. I’m in Southern Phuket which is the major tourist area – the South Florida of Thailand with similar weather.” William Shetter, who has lived in St. Maartin since his graduation from Ransom School wrote, “Though I had been planning to attend our 50th for some time, Hurricane Irma had other plans. I am currently deep into rebuilding my restaurant (Skipjack Bar and Grill), ZKLFK VXɣHUHG WUHPHQGRXV GDPDJH Consequently, I was not be able to attend. I am not happy about missing this mo- mentous occasion ... But I wish my very best to all my ‘old’ classmates.
