Hello Ransom Community,

First of all, I would like to say that I am so grateful and happy
to be the president of our school.  I am here to represent you and
to make your year amazing. Student Government has some great
things planned for you this year. We are collaborating with VSO
to bring you food trucks twice a month, which is an awesome way
to get something different to eat during the day. Spirit Week was
absolutely AMAZING! WOOOOOHOOOOO!
You guys voted on themes and it was a great time. Last year,
there were only 3 and a half days for spirit week, but this year
there were 5 full days! We had so many events and games planned-
it was truly a fun-filled week. And, to top off an amazing week,
Student Government planned the Homecoming dance. You got
to choose the music that you wanted by posting on the website of
SGA Address
the DJ. Also there was black lights and neon things all over the
place! In general, we improved everything that people may not
have liked in the past.
After Homecoming, we have more flexibility to do what we
want and what you guys want.  We are going to have another
great winter formal with more cookie cake than last year- that
stuff goes like free fried chicken at the county fair. Then during
the rest of the year we are open to suggestions. We are definitely
going to do a Ransom Everglades American Idol, and maybe a pie
throwing contest or a dance-off. During this time we will be open
to opinions and ideas for things to do. In fact, we are always open
to opinions and fun things to do-that’s what we are all about. We
want you guys to get involved and be a part of everything. Our
jobs are to represent you and to make your year the best it can be.
So with that said, I am so so so excited to be your president- let’s
make this year one to remember!•
