LETTER FROM THE PARENT ANNUAL GIVING CHAIR

Dear Ransom Everglades Community,

It is with tremendous gratitude that I thank the parent body of Ransom Everglades

for helping to achieve record giving levels again this year. Your generosity and

commitment to the school prove that the culture of giving at Ransom Everglades

is thriving.

Together as one community, The Fund raised a record high of $2,609,911. Our parents

contributed more than $1.6 million, another record, with 86-percent participation.

Your generous support helps to provide critical resources that make the RE experience

unique for every student. Your gifts help supply the tools they need to explore in and beyond the classroom as they pursue

their passions. Our success as a community is inspiring and admirable!

I believe that the tradition of giving at Ransom Everglades results from the strength of our community. My sincere thanks

to all of our devoted and hardworking parent volunteers who gave their time and energy to ensure our success. Thanks

to all of our fabulous Grade Chairs and their teams: Lissette Suarez Stancioff ’86 (sixth), Allison Holly (seventh), JoAnne

Civantos (eighth), Ashley Cusack (ninth), Lydia Touzet (10th), Adrienne Pardo (11th), and Alexis Angel and Suzanne

Meltzer ’89 (12th). Our amazing parents from the Class of 2016 reached 99-percent participation! I would also like to take

this opportunity to thank the Ransom Everglades Parents’ Association, led by President Laura Roberts, for raising $280,000

to support the financial aid program.

Thanks to our terrific volunteers, outstanding teamwork and the generosity of our donors, we are confident that we will

continue to grow the annual giving program and provide the financial resources that allow RE to continue its tradition of

educational excellence.

Once again, thank you to all of those who contributed their time, effort and dollars to making the 2015-16 program a huge

success. Our goal is to one day achieve 100-percent parent participation, and I believe that with the incredible support from

you, our families, this goal is within our grasp in the very near future.

Thank you!
